Contributions of Asian Indians
My sister sent me a copy of Mood Indico. I was pleased to read the accomplishments of the South Asian Americans. However, the info failed to glorify ANY involvement in the political arena at the local or national levels; also, nothing was noted in terms of community involvement in terms of donations, grants, volunteering time, effort or monies, etc. at the local or national levels. We do not seem to look beyond our "BACKYARD". Shame on us!!! Maybe you could persuade your affluent subscribers to do the above and then proudly print it. In our small way, we do the above in our community.
